"My husband, two daughter’s and myself train at Smith Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. It has been a great family sport and activity for my children, husband
and myself. We love to go and watch our daughter’s train and compete. It has given them a lot of confidence. I feel at ease sending my kids to school
knowing if they are bullied, that they are more than capable of defending themselves. My family trains through out the week to keep in shape and
learn new techniques.
Each week we are instructed by a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. We learn a lot and are able to take our skill level up
each week. There are kids and adults of all ages, shapes and sizes. The atmosphere is family friendly. The people are great and help you if you need
to go over a technique a few more times. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu not only gives us a work out, we are also learning a useful defensive skill. I am a
32 mother and also a diabetic. The classes have helped me keep my glucose levels where they should be." |
